Performing Jewishness: Reflections on the Theatre of Harold Pinter
10th October 2018 @ 7:30 pm
£5 – £10

To what extent, and in what ways, can Harold Pinter be seen as a Jewish playwright?
Pinter claimed in a 1996 interview ‘I’ve no religious beliefs whatsoever, but I’m still Jewish.
I don’t know what that means, really, nobody ever does.’ Perhaps Pinter is a Jewish playwright precisely because he brings ‘Jewish’ indefinability to his plays?
