BBC Journalist Nadia Ragozhina will be joining us in the salon to share with us her family’s hidden history, how she rediscovered her family story, and the process of piecing together narratives which were kept concealed for generations.

Her book, Worlds Apart, tells the story of two brothers separated at the turn of the twentieth century, and the stories of their daughters and granddaughters against the backdrop of the Russian Revolution, World War II, and the persecution of Jews across Europe. These are stories of ordinary people, trying to survive against the backdrop of some of the most tumultuous events of the twentieth century.
